What’s rural tourism?
Early morning. The smells of different herbs in the air, dew-drops sparkle and lightly shudder here and there, the entire nature suspires languishly and awakes from the warm summer night. The gamy call of a young cockerel and deep low-pitched cow’s moo is somewhere far. Such a nice picture can be seen only in the village.
The city-dwellers’ soul has village roots and always tremulantly answers the fascinations beloved by it: possibility to run barefoot over dewy grass, to perceive the soft cony back with a palm, to touch the cow’s roundish and warm hips, to breath the saturated smell of recently baked bread and fresh milk. You can afford yourself walk slowly along the forest adjacent to the village, to sit along on the side of the mountain river listening to its ceaseless tune, to enjoy the chirr of grasshoppers, to feel a fresh wind with all your skin. Just at that time the internal urban rhythm decelerates, the problems wash away and interval relaxation comes. For the good of similar relaxation everybody seeks to enjoy the holidays. The Altay-based land, forests and rivers bears beneficial influence upon a human being. A week of calm and joyful stay in those wonderful places recovers the organism forces in full and feeds the soul.
The form of tourism suggests recreation of city-dwellers in the countryside, in a village together with local families. The host family and its farmstead are called “green house”. Separate wooden houses in a picturesque place near the river, at the foot of mountains shall be waiting for the guests to arrive. The house will have everything for recreation: residential rooms for 2-3 persons, equipped kitchens and bashes. |
