The peninsula of Kamchatka
The peninsula of Kamchatka

is the unique outdoor ecological  museum created as a gift to the mankind. Sure thing, everybody falls in love in the beauty of Kamchatka. It’s useless to dispute that fact. The inhabitants of the whole Kamchatka  and those who came here from other parts of the world love that land completely. They can’t imagine their life without hills covered with snow, without  steely ocean distances, without natural hot thermal springs and the best water in the world.

Magnetism of Kamchatka is also known to the peninsula guests. Those who although once came here, are willing to return again and again and the impressions of that beautiful land remain forever. The peninsula of Kamchatka includes the continent part adjacent to it, the island of Karaginsky and Commander archipelago. The peninsula of Kamchatka is located in the north-east of Eurasia.

Kamchatka has 29 active and 141 dead volcanoes. Thanks to the volcanoes Kamchatka is so beautiful and unusual.  There are acid lakes, hot thermal lakes, waterfalls, a lot of inimitable stone sculptures created when erupting volcanoes. All that and many other things may not leave uninterested those who observed the occurrences.

Kamchatka is famous for its hot thermal springs. There are more than 150 different groups of thermal displays.

Nalichevsky springs (located in the Nalichevsky Valley. There are more than 50 concentrated outflows of thermal waters on the acclivous carbonate top of 150-200 diameter. Chemical composition of water – chloride natrium).

Timonovsky thermal springs (located on both sides  of the river of Pad Timonovskaya. There are 15 mud springs. Maximum temperature of thermae - 45-460С, but often the springs  of temperature 23-330С are found. The water composition relates to sulphate-chloride-hydrocarbonate-natrium).

Khodutkinsky thermal springs (located in the south-east of Kamchatka 4km north-west of the volcano of khodutka. Chemical composition of thermae – hydrocarbonate-chloride- natrium).

Malkinsky thermal springs (located in the picturesque area to the east  of the river of Malka, on the left side of the river of Kliuchovka. The waters of springs are hydrocarbonate-chloride-sulphate natrium). Except for the listed ones, Kamchatka has a great deal of hot thermal springs where one can not have a rest, but rehabilitate own health.

Geyser Valley

Brilliance of the Geyser Valley strikes a tremendous impression. Numerous fluctuating  columns of vapor uprise against the background of exuberant green of bushes and grey rocky bluffs from the bottom of the Valley, almost the notch.  The Geyser Valley is the unique place not only of Kamchatka, but  worldwide. For long time this nature wonder was hidden in the very heart of Kamchatka and was discovered only in 1941 by Tatiana Invanovna Ustinova. Our Geyser Valley is one of the largest worldwide , although there are only four similar places (USA, New Zealand, Island and Kamchatka). Here one can see geysers, pulsatory springs, mud wells. The river Geyzernaya runs across the entire canyon  where the Valley is located. Temperature of water river exceeds 300C above zero even in winter. The valley includes some twenty large geysers such as Pervenets (from the bottom of which the Valley begins), Big, Small ( in spite of its name it is considered one of the largest as for height of water jet when erupting – 12m), Fountain, Giant (striking by its grandeur), even major number of pulsatory springs ( Malachite Grotto, Jubilee, Small Furnace, Crack and many others).
