Region information: Kenozersky national park is located in the south-west of the Archangelsk region. Kenozerie is the combination of picturesque landscapes and the best national traditions of the Russian North, one of the few places in Russia that preserved the virgin nature and unique culture of the Ancient Russia. Here are the numerous islands; little wooden houses are hidden in the deep greenof forests, chapels, churches, masterpieces of the wooden architecture, a bright proof of talent of the Russian masters. The wooden monuments of orthodox culture combined with the ethnic relicts became the symbols of the Kenozersky National Park. There is one of the famous museums of the wooden architecture that preserved its structure of the XVI – XVII centuries within thePark’s area.
The numerous villages which are situated on the sides of lakes preserved up to nownot only the old names and external appearance of these structures, but the living traditions formed in the old times.
The eco camp is located on the side of the lake of Maselgskoe in the picturesque corner of the Kenozersky national park.
Accommodation: in the wooden blockhouses for 8 people. There is a large bright diner made in the style of Peter the Great (60 seats) and a newlarge bath. The camp is equipped with sleeping accessories, bed clothes,kitchen utensils, tents, sleeping bags, life jackets, mosquito nets, sports implements.
Boarding: 5 meals, natural products shall be delivered daily.
Activities:
Sports games: football, volleyball, swimming; draughts, chess.
Master classes on birch –bark, clay toy etc.
Excursions: «Ancestors’ path», «Formicaries’ path», «Overrunning lake», «Lake», «Stream», «Northern equator», «System of five lakes», «Transkenozero path», strolls to the old churches, chapels, worship crosses.
Walks, holidays, evening fires with songs.
Ecological classes of studying flora, fauna, the lakes system of the Kenozersky park.
Excursions combined with the interesting classes on different subjects: hydrobiology, ethnography and history, zoology.
The second half of the day includes:
master classes: birch-bark wicker-work, making of the Cargopol clay toy, wood carving; bathing, boat and catamaran riding, fishing; sports games, locality –based games; volunteer works; quizzes, ecological games; night walks to the forest; training of tourists skills.
The price includes the railway tickets, a compartment, Moscow-Archangelsk-Moscow, transport service on the route, excursion service on the route, accommodation on the route, five meals a day.
The Moscow program is extra charged (transfer airport-hotel- airport, hotel accommodation 3*** DBL-standard /B & B, excursions round Moscow with a guide a visit to the Red Square, the Kremlin and its cathedrals, the city sight-seeing tour.
