In the southern Siberia the archeologists discovered the prints of the first men. These prints can be seen in the blocks of ice. They are pretty well preserved. These prints are about 2500 years old. This sensational discovery was published in the magazine “Ogonek”. An image of the professor Vladimir Sjomkin holding the pigtails of an ancient warrior was sent to all the agencies. A warrior, a king or a commander in chief, was probably buried together with his horse, furs, utensils, and works of art. On his chest there is a tattoo of an elk made absolutely gorgeous. These prints were discovered in the area of the Plato Ukok, a highland of the Altai Mountains. The place is on the border with Mongolia. The archeologists learn that the found man was one of the most mysterious people of the Pre-Christian antiquity: they knew that he was a nomad of the Iranian origin and that his civilization prospered in the beginning of the second millennium before Christ. The discovery clarifies many mysteries of the past, but it is just a key to the others.
