Day1: Arriving in Moscow. Departure for Irkustk where your adventures will start.
Day 2: Arriving in Irkutsk in the morning. You shall be accommodated the hotel Irkutsk 3* (double rooms). A bus tour round the city. You will see the places of the great historical interest. Lunch is in the Siberian style restaurant. Irkutsk is one of the most ancient Siberian cities, and there are a lot of important places to visit. First of all there are churches built in white stone and in the style of the Siberian Baroque; typical houses in carved wood; a Museum of Fine Arts and the Ethnographic one which will let you know the history and culture of the city. Dinner is in another typical restaurant.
Day 3: Breakfast. A 350 km - drive to the village of Nilov founded in the year of 1840 where we will encamp (2-person tents). You will visit the Siberian Taiga – the national park of Tunkinskje and you will have lunch there. Dinner is in the camp.
Day 4: Breakfast. A horse-riding to the river Hikjegher (15 km) where you will encamp. During the trip you will admire the boundless landscapes of these places and stop for lunch in a splendid clearing. Dinner is in the camp on the river bank.
Day 5: Breakfast. Crossing the river Ixe (a horse-riding) to arrive in the valley Scumakskiaj (10 km). Encamping. During the ride you will go along the mountain of Schumahk (2750 m height). Lunch. In the afternoon you will encamp then have some rest and admire the magnificent lands. Dinner.
Day 6: Breakfast. A walk to the east (5 km) to the springs of Scumakskia. Even today this place is considered to be full of magic. The local shamans practice their rituals there. Lunch is on the route. Dinner is in the camp.
Day 7: Breakfast. A walk to the north (about 6 km) to visit the large complex of sources of the mineral water. There are over 100 springs in the area. They are devided into 3 groups, the first group has 42 springs with water temperature from +10°C to +35°C; the second group numbers 50 springs with the same characteristics; in the third group there are 16 springs with temperatures from +28°C to +34°C. You will also get some information about the medical herbs that are found in this area. Lunch is on the route. A walk to the real nature work, the waterfalls of Beriusovej. Dinner is in the camp.
Day 8: Breakfast. A walk to the south (5 km) along the banks of the river Narin-Gol where you will visit a Buddhist Temple (Datsan) all built in wood. You will have lunch in the valley of Tunkinskaya that is one more place of dramatic beauty. Dinner is in the camping.
Day 9: After the breakfast you will start horse-riding or a pedestrian walk (10 km) to the coast along the mountain of Schumahk, where you will have lunch. Then you will go to the river Hikjeghe where we will encamp (2 person-tents) and have dinner.
Day 10: After the breakfast you will continue your horse-riding or a pedestrian walk (8 km) to the valley Nilov where you will stop for lunch. A bus-trip (120 km) to the village of Hartshan where you will be accommodated in a typical rural hotel (double rooms). In the evening there is the Russian bath and a dinner.
Day 11: Breakfast and a visit to the village of Hartshan where you can see the mineral water springs and the Buddhist Temple of the city. It is a large wooden building. Lunch is in the rural hotel. Departure for Irkutsk (200 km). Check in the hotel Irkutsk 3*.
Day 12: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure for Moscow (4, 45-flight). Check in the hotel Izmailovo 3*. Free time.
Day 13: After the breakfast there is a visit to the Red Square and the church of St. Vasilyi, and the mausoleum of Lenin. You will walk along the famous street Arbat where you will have lunch in a typical restaurant. You will step over the 0-km of the capital city (an excursion with a guide) and see the Bolshoi Theatre. You will go shopping ti the famous department store Gum.
Day 14: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure. |
