Arrival in Moscow. Meeting with a guide and driver.

A Moscow City Tour (3,5-4 hours). Includes all the main highlights of the Russian capital. Our professional guide will tell you about the history, culture and sights of Moscow. You will see St. Basil cathedral, the State Historical Museum, the grandiose Cathedral of Christ the Savior; New Maiden Convent with its cemetery where the most celebrated people are buried. You will be shown the panoramic view of all Moscow at Sparrow Hills, Poklonnaya Hill, Kutuzosky Avenue and the New Arbat Street.

An excursion to the Moscow Kremlin. Territory + the Kremlin Cathedrals.

The Moscow Kremlin + Armoury - the unique State Historical and Cultural Museum-Preserve. Its monumental and elegant towers, gilded domes of cathedrals and majestic palaces create the splendid architectural ensemble that comprises cultural and architectural monuments of the 15th - 20th centuries.  The Kremlin has always been the administrative center of Russia, and it still remains.


The Old Arbat Street + Metro  (a walking tour) is a peculiar area of many small streets and lanes with beautiful 18th and 19th century mansions, museums and shops. In the 19th century Arbat was turned into a favorite neighborhood for the nobility of Moscow and creative intelligentsia. Over the years the street has developed into one of the most popular places in Moscow with various souvenir shops, cafes, cultural centers, etc. Free time for shopping in the Old Arbat Street.

Yerevan City Tour

Breakfast. A city-tour of Yerevan including the City Center, the Republic Square, the State University, the City Panorama, Mother Armenia Monument, the Parliament, Presidents Palace, Opera, Sports & Concert Complex. A visit to the Genocide Memorial, dedicated to the Victims of 1915 and the Genocide Museum.

A visit to Matenadaran (the depository for ancient manuscripts, the collection of which is one of the biggest in the world). This outstanding collection includes manuscripts dated from 7th century and is widely appreciated by history and art amateurs and professionals.

A visit to Cascade complex, which is considered the modern art center of Yerevan, with art pieces displayed throughout the whole area: the boulevard and up the stairs, from top of which you can enjoy the panoramic view of the city and Mount Ararat. Cascade is home to the Cafesjan modern art museum. This place becomes even more charming in the evenings, when it is full of people, both locals and tourists from all over the world, enjoying magic and warmth of the capital. You will enjoy spending time in one of the cozy open-air cafes surrounded by beautiful sculptures, redolent flowers shining brightly with magic colors. It is also a popular place for openair concerts in summer.

Yerevan - Etchmiadzin - Zvartnots - Garni Geghard- Yerevan.

Breakfast. A drive to Etchmiadzin City, which is used to be the ancient capital of Armenia. Since the 4th century, it is the largest religious center, the residency of Catholicos of all Armenians. The Etchmiadzin cathedral is one of the ancient churches in the Christian world, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List (2000). It is the center of Armenian Apostolic Church, founded in 301 A.D by St.Gregory the Illuminator. Later, it was rebuilt and currently it stands as a complex including the Cathedral, Spiritual Academy, and residency of the Catholicos of all Armenians, Synod of Armenian Church and a library. The museum of the Cathedral, located behind the Altar, has collection of religious artifacts about Holy Mass, subjects made of gold, silver, precious stones, decorations, colossal silver boiler for making the myrrh and legendary Holy spear. A trip to one of the architectural wonders of Armenia Zvartnots temple (641-661 BC), that got its name from the word "Zwart", meaning "joyful and beautiful". The remaining ruins give an idea of the rare beauty of this temple. The temple is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (2000).

A drive to the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun Myrth, in Garni, built in 77 AD by King Trdat (Arshakid Dynasty). A photostop at Charentc Arc. The temple is in Greco-Roman style with characteristic pillars. It stands proudly on a rocky ridge with a deep canyon presenting a beautiful view. The temple was a summer residence for Arshakid dynasty. A visit to the ruins of Royal Palace and Royal bath-house nearby. The Canyon of Garni a magnificent and outstanding scene that creates the image of falling crags. It obtained the name "Symphony of Stones" due to its view. The fantastic landscape of the Garni canyon shakes the human imagination. A drive to the unique caved temple St. Geghard (12th -13th cc.), the name of which means holy spear in the honor of the long-preserved spear, the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Christ. It is now exhibited in the museum of Etchmiadzin Cathedral. Geghard Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list (2000).

Option: Family-hosted lunch in the rural house with watching the making of Lavash (Armenian traditional flat bread baked in a stony oven; tasting authentic Armenian food; get acquainted with local rural life. A drive back to Yerevan.

Yerevan - Lake Sevan - Dilijan (Haghartsin) Yerevan.

Breakfast. A drive to the mountain resort Dilijan, or so called Armenian Switzerland, which is well-known for its forests as well as for its mysterious flora and fauna. During the drive one can enjoy an unbelievable change of the surrounding environment and landscape from mountain lakes to green and rich forest mountains. A short walking city-tour around Dilijan: a visit to handicrafts street, where one can watch the making of different national souvenirs from wood, stone and ceramics. A visit to the Haghartsin Monastery complex located in the secluded place in the forest. Haghartsin dates back to the 11th - 13th centuries and represent a magnificent piece of history, culture and architecture. The place is so unique and the scenery with the nature surrounding is so breathtaking that most visitors are in awe. Appearing unexpectedly, out of the dense forests, in front of the visitors, the Monastery creates a magical impression of a lost world. The Complex includes the Church of St.Stepanos, St.Mary and St.Gregory, as well as famous refectory. A drive to the Sevan, one of the greatest high mountain freshwater lakes of Eurasia, climb the Akhtamar peninsula from which the fascinating view on the Lake is open. Visit the Sevanavank monastery, which stands in its greatness on the peninsula overlooking the lake for centuries. A drive back to Yerevan.
