Helsinki - St.Petersburg - Moscow Tour Package (7 nights)

DAY 1: HELSINKI (ARRIVAL, L)

Transfer airport hotel. Lunch at hotel

 

DAY 2: HELSINKI  (B,L)

City tour including visit to church in the rock

Lunch down town

Trip to Porvoo for 4 hours( old nice  town 55km from Helsinki)

 

DAY 3: HELSINKI ST. PETERSBURG (B,L,D)

Excursion to fortress Suomenlinna  ( about 3,5 hours trip   including ferry Helsinki -Suomenlinna -Helsinki)

Lunch at hotel

Transfer hotel -railway station

Departure by Allegro train Helsinki - St.Petersburg at 15:00 and arrival in St. Petersburg at 19:27 (winter timetable)

Meeting with guide. Dinner at the restaurant. Transfer to the hotel. Check in.

 

 

Day 4  - ST.PETERSBURG (B,L)

Breakfast
Sightseeing bus tour of St. Petersburg. Includes all main highlights of the Russian capital such as St. Isaac's Square, Dvortsovaya Square, Nevsky Prospect, Palace Square, Avrora, Peter and Paul Fortress, etc.  This city is called in different ways - Northern Venice, North Palmira, North Aurora. But none of these names can fully express elegance, unique charm and originality of Saint-Petersburg. The unique feature of the city is that not only that the city itself was built according to a single design, harmonically matching the beautiful surroundings. Saint-Petersburg is a marvelous ensemble, consisting of beautiful suburban palaces, mansions and wonderful parks
Excursion to St. Peter and Paul Fortress

Peter and Paul fortress can be called the cradle of the city. Peter the Great ordered to build it to protect the land during the Northern War with Sweden that lasted for 21 years 1700 - 1721. St. Peter and Paul Fortress was founded on May, 27 1703. This day is considered to be the birthday of the St. Petersburg. The architectural centre of the city is the first cathedral of the city: St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. It is also the burial place of all Russian Emperors starting with Peter the Great.

Lunch
Visit the State Hermitage, Russias most famous palace and museum. The State Hermitage Museum occupies five magnificent buildings along the Neva River Embankment in the very center of Saint Petersburg. It ranks among the best museums of West European art in the world such as the Louver in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the National Gallery and the British Museum in London and Prado in Madrid.The State Hermitage features one of the largest art collections in the world. It numbers about 3 million items, including masterpieces by outstanding artists, embracing the period from the Stone Age to modern times.

Day 5 - ST.PETERSBURG (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Half-day tour to Peterhof. Peterhof is a series of palaces and gardens  located in the suburb of St.Petersburg .  A world-famous palace, fountain and park ensemble of Peterhof is an outstanding landmark of Russian artistic culture of the 18-19th centuries. Founded in the very beginning of the eighteenth century by Emperor Peter the Great Peterhof was intended to become the most splendid official royal summer residence.

Day 6 - ST.PETERSBURG-MOSCOW (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport.

Arrival in Moscow. Meeting with guide at the arrival with sigh

Panoramic city tour of Moscow. Exterior visit to Novodevichy Convent and its famous Swan Lake

Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Dinner in the hotel .

 

 

DAY 7: MOSCOW (B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel

Excursion to Moscow Kremlin. Territory + Kremlin Cathedrals+ Armoury

Moscow Kremlin is  the unique State Historical and Cultural Museum-Preserve. Its monumental  and elegant towers, gilded domes of cathedrals and majestic palaces create the splendid architectural ensemble that comprises cultural and architectural monuments of the 15th-20th centuries.  The Kremlin has always been the administrative center of Russia, and it still remains as such.

Visit to the St. Basil Cathedral

Visit to the Moscow Metro & Arbat Street for souvenir shopping

Return to the hotel

 

DAY 8: MOSCOW (B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Excursion to Izmailovo Kremlin. Walking & shopping

Lunch in Vodka Museum with degustation

Free time.

Transfer to the airport. Departure
