Program:
Day 1 - MOSCOW (L) Arrival to Moscow. Meet with guide and driver. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 2 - MOSCOW (B,L) Breakfast at hotel.
Lunch. Walking tour to the Red Square After the tour you`ll be taken to hotel.
Day 3 - MOSCOW / Ethno World (B,L) Breakfast at hotel Transfer to the Ethno World. Arrival to the Ethno village at round 10 am. 10.00- 12.15 – Sightseeing excursion of Ethno World. Ethno World is an open-air ethnographic theme park located 90 km from Moscow. ETHNOMIR is a unique project featuring a small model of the diverse Earth population in a territory of about 90 ha. When completed the park will include 52 compounds – each dedicated to the culture of a specific nationality. The compounds l feature a group of buildings built in the traditional ethnical style: a hotel, craft shop, museum, restaurant with traditional cuisine, souvenir shop, and other facilities typical of this or that ethnicity. Each community has its own tradition keeper, who can tell about the precious culture of his or her nation conveyed through traditions, festivals, crafts, folklore, mythology, architecture, history, national cuisine, and traditional medicine. The key principle behind the ETHNOMIR concept is equality of all cultures regardless of economic development level or international status of a given country. The project will be fully completed by 2019.Any guest visiting ETHNOMIR can stay at an ethnic style hotel (a felt yurt, a rawhide tent or an Indian tipi and enjoy the atmosphere and culture of each presented country. Some foreign tourists say that this park is similar to Disney’s Epcot Center. 13.30 - 14.30 –lunch 15.00 – hotel check in. Hotel “Russian courtyard”. Free time at the Street of Peace 17.30- 18.30 – dinner; 18.30 - 19.30 – excursion “The magic of nomadic tribes” followed by Tuva tea ceremony What do we know about nomadic people ? In a traditional house of nomadic people- felt yurt- you’ll learn much about their way of life. 19.30 - 21.00 – animation program “Round Bonfire”. Guests will gather round bonfire. They will be welcomed by representatives of different countries : Northern Amerika, India, Russia and Russian Siberia. Guests will learn how different nationalities can make a camp fire, how they treated fire and its magic force, its role in the life of different nationalities. Guests will participate in national dances of different nationalities. Every guest will have a chance to make his own wish!
Day 4 - MOSCOW /Ethno World-ST.PETERSBURG (B,L) 09- 10.00 – Breakfast 10.00 - 10.45 – excursion “Russian traditional stove feeds, warms and heals». During this Interactive tour you can learn about the role of the stove in the life of the Slavs, Russian traditions and ceremonies, can lie on the warm couch, shake the ancient cradle, try to spin a yarn. Excursion will take place inside the biggest stove in the world - Russian Stove as well as inside typical Russian log hut. 11.00 - 12.00 – Excursion “Russian wedding traditions”. During this interactive tour you can learn about the various forms of marriage, take part in the wedding ceremony, become a witness of newlyweds, give oath for Higher Power of Nature. 12.00- 13.00 –Lunch 13.30- 14.30 – excursion to isolated farmsteads of Ukraine and Belorussia during which you will learn about life of Slavic peoples, traditions, their unity and difference. 18.00 transfer to Leningrad railway station 23.00 night train to St.Petersburg
Day 5 – ST. PETERSBURG (B,L) Arrival to Saint-Petersburg. Meeting with guide and driver. Breakfast Sightseeing bus tour of Saint Petesburg. Lunch Hotel check-in. Free time
Day 6 - ST. PETERSBURG-MOSCOW (B,L) Breakfast at hotel. Check out. Excursion to Peterhof - a series of palaces and gardens located in the suburb of St.Petersburg. Visit to the Ethno village «Shuvalovka» (10 minutes drive from Peterhof). Lunch at Shuvalovka. Ethnographic park of russian village «Shuvalovka» offers a unique opportunity to move into the past of russian traditions. Russian village «Shuvalovka» offers a diverse range of services and entertainments which includes: Russian bathhouse with firewood, Russian Gornitsa (The Parlor), the Forge and the Pottery workshop, restaurant «Krapiva» («The Nettle»), cafe «Ivan-Ñhai» («The Willow-Herb»), wine tasting programs, Theater of tales «Mr. Pezho's wandering dolls», horseback riding, poultry yard and barnyard, handicrafts and cooking master-classes, moreover master-classes on folk handicraft, folklore show-programs for tourists, comfortable rooms at the hotel. Excursion through the park and visit to the theater of Russian vodka with degustation. Master Class as option: painted Russian dolls in volkhov style, weaving amulets & toys from bast & bark, weaving jewelry from beads. Back to the city. Transfer to the railway station. Night train to Moscow.
Day 7 - MOSCOW (B,L) Arrival. Breakfast at city restaurant. Transfer to Izmailovo Kremlin Lunch in Vodka Museum with degustation. After that guide will take you by metro to Arbat street. Old Arbat street (walking tour).
Day 8 - MOSCOW (B) Breakfast. 12:00 check out. Transfer to the airport
