Program:

 

Day 1 – MOSCOW

Arrival to Moscow. Meeting with a guide. Transfer to the hotel. Check in.

 

Day 2 MOSCOW (B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Moscow city tour (3,5-4 hours). Includes all main highlights of Russian capital. Our professional guide will tell you about the history, culture and sights of Moscow. You will see St. Basil cathedral, the State Historical Museum, the grandiose Cathedral of Christ the Saviour; New Maiden Convent with its cemetery where most celebrated  people are buried. You will be shown the  panoramic view of all Moscow at Sparrow hills, Poklonnaya Hill, Kutuzosky Avenue and New Arbat Street.

Time for Lunch.

Excursion to Moscow Kremlin. Territory + Kremlin Cathedrals+ Armoury

The Moscow Kremlin is  the unique State Historical and Cultural Museum-Preserve. Its monumental  and elegant towers, gilded domes of cathedrals and majestic palaces create the splendid architectural ensemble that comprises cultural and architectural monuments of the 15th-20th centuries.  The Kremlin has always been the administrative center of Russia, and it still remains as such.

Back to the hotel.

 

Day 3 - MOSCOW (B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Excursion to Tretiakov Gallery.

Walking tour to the Red Square  -St. Basil’s Cathedral,  Spasskaya tower, Aleksandrovsky garden and Grave of the Unknown Soldier, GUM.

Time for  Lunch.

Moscow Metro Tour.

Back to the hotel.

 

 

Day 4 - MOSCOW (B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out.

Old Arbat street  (walking tour)  is a peculiar area of many small streets and lanes with beautiful 18-s and 19-s century mansions, museums and shops. In the 19th century Arbat turned into a favorite neighborhood for nobility of Moscow and creative intelligentsia. Over the years the street has developed into one of the most popular places in Moscow with various souvenir shops, cafes, cultural centers, etc. Free time for shopping at Arbat street.

Time for Lunch.

Transfer to the railway station. Sapsan train to St. Petersburg.

Arrival to  St. Petersburg; meet with a guide. Transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 5 - ST.PETERSBURG (B,L)

Breakfast.
Sightseeing bus tour of St. Petersburg. Includes all main highlights of the Russian capital such as St. Isaac's Square, Dvortsovaya Square, Nevsky Prospect, Palace Square, Avrora, Peter and Paul Fortress, etc.  This city is called in different ways - Northern Venice, North Palmira, North Aurora. But none of these names can fully express elegance, unique charm and originality of Saint-Petersburg. The unique feature of the city is that not only that the city itself was built according to a single design, harmonically matching the beautiful surroundings. Saint-Petersburg is a marvelous ensemble, consisting of beautiful suburban palaces, mansions and wonderful parks.
Excursion to St. Peter and Paul Fortress.

Peter and Paul fortress can be called the cradle of the city. Peter the Great ordered to build it to protect the land during the Northern War with Sweden that lasted for 21 years 1700 - 1721. St. Peter and Paul Fortress was founded on May, 27 1703. This day is considered to be the birthday of the St. Petersburg. The architectural centre of the city is the first cathedral of the city: St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. It is also the burial place of all Russian Emperors starting with Peter the Great.

Time for Lunch.
Visit the State Hermitage, Russia’s most famous palace and museum. The State Hermitage Museum occupies five magnificent buildings along the Neva River Embankment in the very center of Saint Petersburg. It ranks among the best museums of West European art in the world such as the Louver in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the National Gallery and the British Museum in London and Prado in Madrid.The State Hermitage features one of the largest art collections in the world. It numbers about 3 million items, including masterpieces by outstanding artists, embracing the period from the Stone Age to modern times.

Day 6 - ST.PETERSBURG (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Half-day tour to Peterhof. Peterhof is a series of palaces and gardens  located in the suburb of St.Petersburg .  A world-famous palace, fountain and park ensemble of Peterhof is an outstanding landmark of Russian artistic culture of the 18-19th centuries. Founded in the very beginning of the eighteenth century by Emperor Peter the Great Peterhof was intended to become the most splendid official royal summer residence.

Time for Lunch.

St. Isaaks Cathedral.

Back to the hotel.

 

Day 7- ST.PETERSBURG (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport.
